 Salsa Wild is run by Dave "Wild Dave" who is a qualified IDTA Salsa Teacher and Promoter. Dave has years of experience promoting salsa events and running weekly classes in South East London and Kent.
The Origins of Salsa Wild began with a business venture fairly early in Dave's salsa days. It started with Dave organising a salsa party night in Central London. The party took place at "CLUB WILD" in Wild Court, Holborn and the event was called SALSA@WILD.
Dave brought in some quality entertainment by hiring a popular live 5 piece salsa band "COCO XPRESS", and a 10 piece dance troupe "CUDANCE 10" and Teachers "RICHARD aka DJ RICH, SANDRA & PHILIPPA". The event was a huge success, had a great atmosphere, fantastic dancers and a really friendly crowd - with over 200 people attending. This was the birth of Salsa Wild "BORN TO BE WILD"
Salsa Wild were the 1st to introduce some of the best teachers in London to the Kent salsa scene - Moeflex, Frank Santos & Massimo taught on a weekly basis at "The Loft" in Maidstone. Guest teachers included Sam "Mr Sleek", & Nico and all of these guys are still active and teaching regularly on the Kent and London/UK salsa scene.
We have developed and now have regular salsa classes and workshops (Bachata, Reggaeton, On2 etc) across South East London and Kent, with some of the best teachers on the salsa scene on the team. They now teach on a weekly basis - Frank Santos & Natalie, Rafael Del Busto, & Simon plus more well known regular guest teachers to salsa in Kent.
We teach you nothing but the best and at the same time ensure you are having fun while learning something new. We are often told we are one of the most friendly and welcoming organisations around. All levels are welcome, no need to bring a partner, no need to book just turn up. Come down make new friends, meet new people, learn a new skill and great dance and much more.
